Windstar Suspends Ops Through June, Seabourn Extends Commissions


Due to the continued results of COVID-19 (coronavirus) on the world’s inhabitants and expanded journey restrictions enacted by a number of governments, Windstar Cruises is extending its momentary suspension of operations till June 30, 2020. Windstar says it can start working cruises aboard its yachts and small ships once more in July 2020.

“The health and well-being of guests, crew, land-based employees and people in the communities we visit is always a top priority,” Windstar mentioned in an announcement supplied to Travel Agent.

For these visitors with canceled cruises because of this extension, Windstar is providing a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) valued at 125 % of all monies paid to Windstar Cruises on the reserving. Guests may have till December 31, 2021 to e book and sail with their FCC. Guests might also request to change the FCC for a refund of 100 % of monies paid to Windstar Cruises on the canceled reserving. Guests have till December 31, 2021 to request the refund.
